Been away from this thread for a while so sorry if they've been mentioned already, but any fans of Haarp Machine? Prefere their earlier stuff with their first drummer but still pretty good IMO.

Motorhead have to be one of the dullest bands around, apart from a few clasics the songs are terrible...

MEN? Me too. Technically they're both headlining, but yeah, I hope Zombie's on second.

Have we done this one? I sometimes like a bit of a melody poking through the spikes.

Allegaeon - The God Particle

I just wish Blotted Science would hurry up and record another album.

ETA: Found this on YouTube, hated it as soon as matey boy started warbling: Ouroboros - Sanctuary

Shame, I like the geetar work.

Technical death metal bands really shouldn't do videos. Like the music, but that's awful! Agree on the vocals as well, very by the numbers. Prefer Be'lakor sort of approach. Still DM vocals, but little bit more feel to them, and music is much more expansive instead of the usual "Look at what I can do on the guitar!" too much modern death metal is victim to.

I went to Leicester to see this. Anthrax were good but Motorhead were as fantastic as ever. If you dont like them...then just say. We got a really good mix of material including Damage Case, Metropolis, Dr Rock, Overkill, Ace of Spades, The one to sing the blues and Killed by Death. Anthrax did a greatest hits package.

Ooh, I like that. Have grabbed the album off eMusic (I've been struggling to spend this month's balance, oddly).

ETA: I've been listening to Vergeltung's new album (OK, it's new to me; it came out in March).

Bandcamp link.

That's the one, not the MEN any more, just the Manchester Arena.
Saw MM on their last tour and they where very poor.

Saw him at leeds as well, he did an extra song to make up for not being able to fit all his giant robots on stage.

So who's coming to Godflesh/Neurosis on Sunday then? I know we did discuss it a while ago but no-one seemed to know what they were dong then.

A great deal of melodic death metal sails far too close to "Middle Earth power metal" territory for my liking, but Be'lakor were a great find. Obviously a great deal of work gone into their songs, and it's not just about showing off, which is where a lot of it falls down for me.
