New Enforced album is very good.
Fills the Power Trip shaped hole in my heart.

This may be enjoyable to anyone of a Doom-y persuasion. Great Brum-based stoner doom/heavy psychedelia channelling the likes of Orange Goblin, Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats and King Buffalo.

I first heard this on a combat video posted on Reddit by UKR.

Very moving and motivational, not heard of them before

I would be listening to this if I was on the front line.

Anyone heard of an Aussie band called Be'lakor?

They're quite doomy but melodic as well.

It was a genuine surprise to find out they weren't from Scandinavia

Not come across them, don't follow much doom stuff though.

New Sylosis single dropped today, absolute banger (if you like that sorta thing): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8JA5F8FdCg

I live in Aberdeen but we don't get the music scene up here that Glasgow does, so I am down for gigs fairly frequently. Last one was AA Williams last month and I am down for Muse on Friday this week.

Debating Core Festival for Deafheaven/Rolo Tomassi and I've got tickets for Prodigy, Ice Cube, Blackstone Cherry, Green Lung, Harikari for the Sky aaaand there's likely to be more due to the usual Oct/Nov/Dec gig rush hehe

For Slipknot fans, the original Slipknot singer is doing a tour of Oz/Nz signing the Slipknot depot (Mate.Feed.Kill.Repeat) with his backing band (The Feeders).

Hoping he comes to the UK to do it.

Went to the bloodfest metal to the masses gig in Oxford last night. £8 to see five bands, all of which were great. Headlined by Red Method, with reveller, shoot to kill, stone soup and indecorum doing the bloodstock contest.

They’re going to run it next year too, highly recommended.
