Sepultura doing a goodbye tour next year supported by Jinjer.
Just saw that, I wonder will Max and Igor make an appearance?

It's not worth it if Max and Igor don't return, IMHO.

Bit leftfield (well, Industrial), but Project Pitchfork are playing in London next year.

I'm more interested in seeing Jinjer to tell the truth, a bit of Sepultura will just finish the night off nicely.

I was reminded of this earlier; there's just something pure about 2-man Metal bands. Not to everyone's taste.

Awesome.

New Architects sing kicks very hard, sonically and especially lyrically :-0

They are pissed off

Found Creeper recently. Their first two albums are okay, nothing overly special, but their latest release is something else. Think Ghost crossed with Jim Steinman/ Meat Loaf. Just brilliant.

Anybody get Slipknot 25th anniversary tickets?

I was going to but just not feeling it, I love the album "Slipknot" it was one of my first albums I bought aged 10-11 but for me Joey (rip), Paul(rip) , Craig, Chris missing (+the other 2 who actually performed on the album), its not the same band or energy. Seems to just be a commercial avenue these days for Shawn and Corey.

I am however really looking forward to the original Slipknot singer performing their "demo" album live in the UK in 2024, hoping its at tiny venues.

Sorry not sorry. I've been getting a little depressed that I've not seen a Metal band live since 2019, touring seems different these days. So many festivals but few individual tours. This perhaps displays why festivals aren't always what they're cracked up to be.

Has anyone listened to the latest Tesseract album 'War of Being?' Got it for Christmas and it's really bloody good! I had heard of Tesseract around the metal scene for the last decade or so, but just happened to have never listened to them. Contemplating getting tickets to see them up London in February.

Caught primordial the other night, what a great frontman and the new album is possibly the best in 10 years. Solid setlist and they played extremely well but I was surprised that there could only have been 200 of us in the room. Last time I saw them they comfortably sold the venue out.

Just seen Polaris live, if you haven’t heard them, and like aggressive metalcore, they are sublime imo

Stonking album, seen them live three times now and they are flawless.... It was actually tesseract that prompted me to start this very thread 14 years ago!

Yes I just noticed your post about them was the first, blimey you know you're getting old when 2010 was 14 years ago! I did see Tesseract live in London, fantastic gig and can't wait to see them again.

tell me about it mate!... i've just started a new band as i'm not making as much progress as i'd like with the current outfit...still doing it, but i've got time for 2 bands...

i'm nearly 20 years older than most of the lads in the new band.. i was laying tracks down in recording studios when the new drummer was a new born baby !!
