Moontooth. I'd say for fans of mastodon. Everyone in the band sounds great to me. Aggressive Progressive is how they describe themselves. Just lovely musicianship.

Never really familiar with Urgehal, so was unaware of the story behind this final release. Remaining members worked to finish unrecorded material, then added assorted BM luminaries on guest vocals. Sample track has Nattefrost on croaking duties :-

You're welcome. Great tune. I love the sort of country slide guitar bit that comes in towards the end and the couple of bars with like a Hammond organ or something right at the end. Just to bounce off the big riffs!

So, when you're nursing your beer damaged metal heads this morning, check out the latest Magnum 'Divine Lies....' Album released a week ago. Epic masterpiece, tho I may be a little biased?

How did I miss these?!

As ever, beautiful output from Deftones. I don't understand how they keep it up, album after album.

Have to agree that, for me, they're the best band of the last 20 years. Only Tool could come close but their output isn't prolific enough - it's that, and their continued evolution with each album, which truly amazes me about Deftones.

I saw recently that Cog are back together and touring in Aus. I have everything crossed that they produce some new material and bring it to the UK as they're one of those acts I got hooked on as soon as I heard them.

FloatingMe have also been teasing with some suggestions they might be writing new material.
