I made a complete hash of buying my first single, at the time I didn't realise how much it would come back to huant me......

There I was just turned 13, money in my pocket in Woolco's Hatfield... The Stlyle Council's "Speak Like a Child" was my goal, but there were all sold out... paniced and picked up Gloria by Luara Brannigan..... ohh the shame.

First compilation album was Raiders of the Pop Charts, and first Artist Album was Bad Manners "Ska N B" and "Gosh Its Bad Manners" which were bought vinyl wrapped together

Laura Branigan wasn't that bad, she had a pretty darned excellent/strong voice, but Gloria .... that was dire.
