Went on Saturday. Thought it was superb. Bought the OH hospitality package for Christmas as she won't go anywhere without decent loo's.
Liked Death Cab for Cutie too but wasnt fussed about BC.
Was in the inner pit near the back. Loads of room and a great view.
Not really a Foo's fan previouly but now converted!

I went on Sunday. My word, what a gig - Dave Grohl really knows how to pull off a great show. Think it's up there with one of the best I've ever seen, including RATM at Leeds few years ago.
I did however lose my wallet, but some kind soul picked it up, found my business cards in it and posted it to my office. Thank you, whoever you are!

We were right up on the bank on Sunday. No close up photos but the sound was absolutely mega up there. Awesome gig, cracking atmosphere and a lovely sunset too!

Whata legend, he got turned over just infront of us and hit the ground like a sack of spuds. Thought he was next for the medics but he got back onboard, Respect!Awesome aft/night. not a big Bc fan but thought they were fantastic, could be a convert, and the Foo's - just great. Think they wouldve played all night.
Just about managed to keep out of the 'mosh circle' that kept forming,(not seen that before) getting to old
Just need a week to recover now.
I went on sunday and it was a cracking gig. The Foo Fighters certainly give it 110%!!
Not been to the Milton Keynes Bowl before and I thought it was a great outdoor venue. The sound was good, access is good, plenty of toilets and food places etc. Does anyone know why it is not used more often?

My little mosher enjoying the mixing talents of DJ Bob
John paul Jones and Seasick Steve were epic too - thats the point in the evening where my voice finally gave up
Went on Saturday... Flaming awesome! Saw the FooFighters the first time at the Reading Festival back in 1995 and had previously never heard of them back then, was instantly converted into a fan and have bought every album since!
Had a fantastic time at MK Bowl, but the excellent evening was somewhat dampened by the two hour wait to get out of the locked carpark gates, then the three hours of static traffic sat on the M1 heading South finally followed by the 2 hour drive home... Got back to my car at about 2300hrs on Saturday night, arrived home at 0545 the next morning... I haven't felt that tired in a VERY long time, having had an extremely long and busy day, (I'd been awake for nearly 26hours when I finally got to bed for a quick couple of hours)... But would do it again without question! What a show!

^^ That could'be been written word for word by me. We were expecting a slow exit, so had a mini picnic at the cars. I got home at 6, saw the sun rise/set/rise. But what an awsome concert, when they coming back?Mutley said:

Going by what Grohl said on Saturdays gig, Wasting Light isn't their last album I don't expect they will be back this year, but who knows. I would imagine Grohl would want another couple of albums out before he hits 50.sparks_E39 said:

They tend to tour here every 2 years, I think the UK has a special place in Grohl's heart as it was here the Foos first took off.Said to my friend on Saturday (sorry, turned to friend and shouted;)) that the band have the ability to have the longevity of say, the Rolling Stones, and while DG and the rest are having fun and enjoy touring and recording they will. Another couple of albums before 50 years would be good, but I don't see age being a limiting factor for him
