Apart from the endless piss bombs, I thought the venue was pretty good.
better than the pissed up tt next to us that couldn't be bothered to walk to the bushes for a piss so he flopped his cock out and just pissed on the floor. dirty bd. He thought it was hilarious
I wasn't quite that bad, I pissed in a cup and then poured it on the floor. Some bloke in front of me also pissed in a cup, but launched it forward into the crowd, which is fking disgusting

fook me sideways and spank my ass! I saw a bloke wearing a really nice event shirt infront of me on sunday, when I went to get one they'd all gone from that stall. I thought never mind I'm sure I will be able to grab one off tinternet, I still had one of the normal gig shirts. just looked on fleabay and almost cried at the price! I wonder if anyone bought a few just to sell on afterwards???

I can't get on ebay at work but if it's one of the "bomb" ones I wandered round every stall trying to get one, and the only place that even looked like it had them didn't accept cards. Gutted.

What an awesome gig though! I spent 10 years of my youth in Northampton and that's the first time I've been to the bowl. The band made a three hour set just fly by.

I didn't have any trouble leaving though- I was in bed at my folks in N'ton by midnight. Looks like I lucked into the right carpark!

Better view than me, only really saw Dave up close when he came on the mini stage at the end smile

Blimey George, we must have been pretty much next to eachother! I had a very similar view. We were at the base of the sloped edge of the Bowl. Cracking spot though, and what a day!! spin

Anyone see the iTunes broadcast? Where some retard was in a fight in the Roundhouse. DG, stops the show and deservedly lays into him.

My first time ever seeing them too mate.

Stood there on my own at the start and all these teenage girls crowded round, i thought "what the fk have i let myself in for?"

Then over the next 2 hours they put on a proper rock show. I was completely and utterly in awe. Fantastic band i had totally overlooked as pop-rock due to the folk who had banged on about them.

Some of the show was quite Zepplin-esque.

Had to laugh though, Dave Grohl, "You know when i think back to when we started out and wished one day we could headline a festival, i never dreamed it would actually come true"

YOU WERE IN NIRVANA YA DICK! laugh

Brilliant band though.

"Learning to walk again.....i believe i've waited long enough" thumbup

he was indeed, but I think he was referring to His band, not Kurts, headlining etc.

Indeed, but surely that in itself would lead your band to be very big, purely by association.

They are fecking excellent though. Any good live performances/acoustic shows i should be hunting out?

The Skin and Bones album (acoustic performance), if you don't have it already.

^^ Look out for them on 'Storytellers', which for the life of me, I can't remember if it was a VH1 or MTV production...

1.5 hours of 'essence of Foo' and loads of chat from Dave. thumbup

First time I saw the Foo was in a half-full Barrowland and it was still the 1990's (I think) - that makes me sad i'm old enough to say that.

As said Skin and Bones CD (& DVD, I think there's one), and the Wembley concert from 2009

You can download the iTunes festival concert from a few weeks ago on some sites. It's probably highly illegal of course though, but it was a top performance!
