One suspects more 2011 UK dates will be announced, Reading Festival being likely.
"With all tickets for both of their Milton Keynes Bowl shows selling out within minutes of going on sale at 9am GMT on Friday, Nov. 5, Foo Fighters' frontman Dave Grohl has let slip that fans can expect more gigs next year. The band are scheduled to appear at the outdoor shows on July 2 and 3 next year and extraordinary demand for figures suggests that more shows may be on the way. Rumours are circulating that Foo Fighters will be headlining 2011's T In the Park festival in Kinross, Scotland which has in turn led to speculation that other festivals could be seeing a visit from Grohl and co.
Speaking to NME, Grohl confirmed that further UK shows would be on the cards but remained tight-lipped on the precise details other than saying that they would be "big ones." He did, however, claim that the band's new album -- expected to drop in early 2011 and their first studio album since 2007's 'Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace' -- is perfect for huge outdoor shows.
He told the magazine, "I want to play the album at night live in front of 70,000 people. It's a festival album because it f---ing rocks!"
I went to the Wembley gig a few years ago and had really bad seats due to the stage mess-up. I did a bit of complaining, and got a free DVD and the promise of tickets to the next gig. I got the DVD very quickly, and was somewhat surprised to get a letter today offering me 3 free tickets to this gig! It's just a shame it's in MK, as that's 3hrs from Cardiff!

3 hours?! Not a real fan are you.I was forced to have a 4 day holiday to see Blink in Dublin. Travelled for 7 hours each way.

I'm not as big a fan as i once was, that is true I am going to wait to see if they announce any more dates. I have until the end of Jan to claim these tickets, so plenty of time yet. I would be slightly annoyed if i get these tickets then they announce dates for the Millennium Stadium!

Also, correct me if I'm wrong but they only did Wembley last time and didn't tour anywhere else in the UK. Wouldn't they have announced dates elsewhere in the UK at the same time as the MK gigs? They wouldn't have had any trouble shifting more tickets, that's for sure. Foos are a big enough band that they can do one location in each country and make the fans come to them, rather than the other way around.
Finally - if you can get tickets, get them - you could always sell them on for a tidy profit if you decide not to go.
Right - you can all take the piss out of me for this but I think I've messed up.
Followed the o2 priority link to buy tickets, and it seemed to go through away but I have not recieved my confirmation email. Looking at my bank statement it seems two lots of money have gone out, one for £100 one for £200. So I dont know if I have got tickets or not!
And here comes the really stupid bit - I cant remember which site the o2 sent me to. Rang ticketmaster but they didnt recognise card details, trying to get hold of seetickets but it appears their customer services are non existant.
Does anybody know if it would definitely have been seetickets, or could it have been a different site?

If my memory serves me correctly, it was Seetickets. Followed the o2 priority link to buy tickets, and it seemed to go through away but I have not recieved my confirmation email. Check your junk mail folder in case the confirmation email got put in there perhaps. Also - if you check your bank statement shouldn't it state who the £100/£200 payments were made to?
