Should be a repost as it would be a tragedy if this hasn't been mentioned already

This makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up every time I play it. It's 'Senza Mamma' from Pucinni's 'Suor Angelica'. Although I've heard other versions it's Janis Kelly's that featured in an Inspector Morse episode 'Second Time Around' that does it for me:

Not the most hauntingly beautiful, but appropriate today as Dean has died at 72.

Complete with now inappropriate golly.

I don't often listen to operatic music, but that is wonderful. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ohzSvovTXY
There will be lots and lots of songs which fit the thread time, but this surely has to be amongst them:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDANM9xg8II
Decks Dark, Radiohead.
They're quite hot on copyright so a lot of their Youtube stuff has the sound cut. This is a live version but possibly all the more "hauntingly beautiful" for it.

"The Feeling of Losing Everything" live version by Archive - Can't stop listening to it, heard them sing this live a while back and I'm sure it started to get a bit dusty where I was standing - especially the second half of the song, just stunning, got to be played loud
Only got a facebook link but here goes:

So many moving tunes on this thread.
A few that move me
R.E.M - Everybody Hurts
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5rOiW_xY-kc
This must be on everybody's list surely?
Spandau Ballet - Through the baricades
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmSAPb2MsRE
Bros - Sister
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Qt18KatJbI
The added emotional fact that it was their sister that had been killed
Example - Lying to yourself

Missus and I heard this on the radio on Armistice Day and bizarrely there were onions in the car everywhere.

Decks Dark is a great pick, I prefer the studio version though, right up until the guitar outro.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDANM9xg8II

Keeping with the same theme, I have to add the Live from the basement version of Videotape:
