I'm sure we all get those moments when you just fancy a really bass heavy track that makes the whole room/house shake. After i asked this very question on my facebook, the two that stand out so far are the following.

what do you suggest as a bass blaster?

You cant beat a bit of dubstep to get your sub working biggrin (though it's not to everyone's tastes)
Lung - Afterlife
Chase & Status - Running
Marlow - Bandwagon Junglist
Stereo Mcs - Black Gold (Marlow Remix)

A bit of heavy drum 'n bass works well too, again not to everyone's taste
Calyx Feat. Teebee - Follow The Leader
Spor - Some Other Funk
Neutral Point - The Rock Of Destiny

This gets my sub quite excited too:
Kanye West - Welcome To Heartbreak

Obviously, louder is better. My sub hates me biggrin

Quite like that. It also has the same piano sample as a favourite drum and bass tune of mine, albeit slowed down.

Lovely bit of dub Skream & Example - Shot yourself in the foot again.

Lil wayne - A milli.

3-6 Mafia - Tear Da Club up http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VvNhiZV4o8c&pla...

Kelis- Bossy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bIqtnRmjtkgAnother song i dont like but good for showing off bass.

Da Shootaz- Grand Theft Auto http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sn_Xef44B4M&fea...

All of those can sound really bassy but they all need to be a decent quality obviously and those videos just arent. I used to love the silly loud bass in my car, going to have to make up a wee install sometime soon.

This was my go to song for showing off my stereo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lVYr9sKPF8s&fea... Linkin Park- Cure for the itch.

Aphex Twin - Aegisopolis http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAo6sEv2f8c

Dead Prez- Hip Hop http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4jNyr6BJZuI[/url] H... Also loads of bass.

Daft Punk - Human after all http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FgH2pO9jE2U

Chemical Brothers- Bass test (under the influence) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=epnn9jkDlGA

Great topic!

I love the bass on these Mt Eden tracks:

Sierra Leone http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=maTcoGZ3feY (sounds a bit crap on YouTube but you can download it, not difficult to find on Google...)
Oh That I Had http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKzH6pRfzoU or on Spotify for better quality: http://open.spotify.com/track/40f9IDTMDpFf3CnTcPhY...

Classic tune, not sure YouTube gets it across as much as it should!

Alan Braxe - Addicted

Not heard that one before.

It reminded me of this for some reason.

In a similar vein, tt needs to be played very loudly in a darkened room with a smoke machine and a single chocky's children hehe lazer.

Oof, just realised it might appear I was meaning the Alan Braxe one was the classic tune and youtube doesn't do it justice, when actually I meant LFO.

ELP - Brain Salad Surgery. Poor video, but the bass tones on the original are incredible.

Agreed.

Cavalera Conspiricy - Infliktid - is another great bass heavy album.
