Are there any RUSH fans on here?

I last saw them in concert at Wembley Arena c1983. Absolutely brilliant band and I cannot believe they have been performing since 1968 - the same trio of Peart, Lifeson and Lee! I haven't really been into music much over the last few years, but having just listened to a few bars of Closer to the Heart, Red Barchetta, Tom Sawyer et al, I was thinking of going along to see them again. Wonder if I will be disappointed!

Anyone going to see them?

I last saw them on the Snakes and Arrows tour at the Newcastle Metro Radio arena and they were fantastic. I'm going back for this tour, similar seat near the front so I expect a good show!

Ridiculous talent; spun Fly By Nacht last week. Not poor.

I can't go to see them because of when it is but I would love to. I have a few cassette tapes in my car but the only one I ever play is Rush- All the World's a Stage.

Got to knock it up loud, it's the best live album ever for sure.

A goodie, no doubt but what about Exit...Stage Left?

Somewhat ubiquitous amongst us demographic, yes but I rate (the re-re-remixed [hehe]) 'Lizzy classic, Live & Dangerous above the aforementioned brace.

Then again, Mogg, Shenky & Co's Strangers In The Nacht ... "Hello Chicago!" Oh, joy...

I'm going to see them at Sheffield Arena, almost exactly 30 years since I first saw then on the 1981 Moving Pictures tour.

LG Arena for me.

First saw them at Bingley on Moving Pictures tour.

Seen them on all UK tours since, and S&As in Toronto.

Only seen them once on the Signals tour. Can't afford a trip back to see em this year. I was once in the Orbit Room in Toronto and Lifeson played a set with the Dexters, and I had a pint with him after

My inner pedant can't be held back, but John Rutsy was their first drummer he left after the first record though. It's not recorded if he actually exited stage left or not.

Great band - first saw them on the Roll the Bones tour, again for the 30th Anniversary tour and then twice on the Snakes and Arrows tour (one in Newcastle one in Wembley arena) . Can't afford to go this time around though (how much for tickets at the O2 yikes ) cry
