Blog sounds a good idea, I love reading of peoples expeditions and little trips..
Yup. Vehicle preparation, then the trip. Would be good.

Google images "4 wheel drive Transit" shows a Tranny camper for sale on here, but may be an old image, but it proves they exist.

A friend had a thing that looked like a forward control Landrover, but newer, to use as a rally support vehicle, can't find what it was at the moment

Transit County.

Pinzgaur or Volvo C303.

My neighbour has a Mitsubishi Delica which I believe is a Pajero underneath.
It's Pajero engine/drivetrain but I don't think it's on a frame. Could be wrong. Very capable off road when I've seen them but if it's missing some ironwork from underneath you'd have to be a bit cautious on the most aggressive terrain.

Many convert 101 ambulance,s to campers. Even seen Volvo C303,s (if you can find one that hasn't rotted away) and the rarer Stonefield. My choice would be a Delicia. A nice comfortable alrounder.

I'd definitely recommend a Delica, I've had mine for two and a half years now, converted it to a camper for cheap insurance really, however I do use it as a camper quite regularly over the summer. They are a great vehicle. Have a read of the thread I made while converting it...
