yes, yes, my opps moment !!! .. this had me completelt stuck, mind you, it also claimed a defender and a disco, all fully prepared. in this shot, the Jimny just stopped... there was no traction what so ever, even running Diamond Backs with 15mm of tread, I was eventually going no where.
Still, after sitting there for 20 minutes, she started first time (but I had to wash the headlights out as they filled with water !!)

It came straight to mind when I seen the evoque stuck!

ahhh but my vehicle was worth £2500 and it only cost me a new set of carpets when she was recovered smile, plus I drove home after recovery .. that Evoque was going no where !!

That's a great photo!

Firstly, well done for having the nerve to take a very expensive and actually very lovely car (not my cup of tea but still a great motor) into Slindon, and massive respect for using it properly!

Having been there myself it's quite possible he had absolutely no idea how deep that bomb hole actually was.....

One of the golden rules is to be familiar with your recovery points before you jump in (underneath the front spoiler)! Looks like a bit of training would have been useful... It also looks as though he has exceeded the wading depth.

However, 10/10 for giving it a go.
