Anyone in cheshire going greenlaning would it be possible I could tag along. Assume North Wales or Peak District unless anyone knows of some cheshire green lanes fairly novice and don't want to head out alone and get completely stuck.

Grand Vitara 29" mud tyres 2"lift and snorkel now fitted .

Seems fairly capable.

If I were you I would look for a local 4x4 club that does not specialise in anyone particular make.

not many lanes in cheshire now, think there are about 8km tops and mainly down my end near Malpas as part of the Bishop Bennet way. Yor truck could easily do them all, think it takes about an hour to do them all from over by Farndon to south of Malpas

Is it fairly easy going on the bishop bennet way? I might give that a go in an evening at the weekend.

Yes, APART from the bit south off the a534 near Farndon, if the ground is wet it is very easy to get stuck, I avoid if alone and join the byway off wetrens lane by the side of the gallery

updated above with correct road number, avoind the lane south of the b&b in this link https://goo.gl/maps/JRBwQ Goes through a farm yard off the road but is VERY soft ground. I have done it once during a hot summer but was still boggy, think even a zuk would sink this time of year

Thanks for the advice I will be giving this one a go soon. Other than the boggy ground is there much else obstacle wise to look out for or look forward to?

On a side note have you been to hill n ditch pay n play day near Delamere forest before ?

Narh, about 5 years ago they surfaced it with road planings, ground has come back through now but it has a solid base. Did HnD about 10 years back, good but a small site, worth a gone once

Quite good fun at hill n ditch today until I broke a front drive shaft. And only had rear wheel drive. Only got stuck once. Really enjoyed it was there about 3 hours. Already eyeing up discoverys haha .
