Bumper scuffs on a Ford Ranger

Hi guys
was in a Ford Ranger tonight with a mate and we had a bit of an oops moment and kissed a tree
no real damage, just a scuff in the black plastic front bumper, not deep just a graze, any idea how to cover this up with out going for a spray job or chips away place ?
Mate has this thing on hire so we need quick fast and cheap if possible, do the colour polish things work ?
