Front loader for compact tractor help

Morning all, I have bought a New Holland Boomer 40 compact tractor and am looking to get a front loader for it. I would rather buy second hand and there are a fair few on eBay and Facebook Marketplace. There was a John Deere one but that was very specific as to what it would fit. A couple of others have said "with minor modifications would fit other machines". Are they therefore manufacturer specific and if so what modifications would be needed? Cheers.
