Great. Quiet, good grip, even in the wet. Most unlike typical mud terrains on the road.

Here's one of my Delilah with her KL71's on...

This is them compared to old tyres...

They are fantastic on/off road, giving very little road noise, and they give better grip in the wet than the old Mitchelin road tyres did, and they are great in the snow!!!

Thanks, Lionsden,

Just for reference, what size are your tyres?

Cheers

Hi they are 30/950 r15 just slightly larger than the 235/75 r15 i think its the equivalent of 241/79 r15.

We fit the 235/75x15 as they are a little easier to get hold of.

Andy.

What do you use the Ninety / trailer combination for which will require such wide tyres - golf course maintenance or access across boggy ground?

Not KL71s but Marshall Road Ventures which are very much the same, 31/10:50/15 on our Disco 300 (+ 2in)

Very good off road, clear the treads nice and quick but a bit lumpy on road at low speed, just to be expected with mud tyres really.

Me and my bro are about to buy 10 tyres, and rims from Tyresdirect. Now, I use Malatesta Kobra Trac NT's at the moment, and they do the job quote nicely. After reading this, and other info on the Khumo KL71, they seem to fit the bill quite nicely. Unfortunately, they only really come in 195R15. Will those fit on the 7" wheels OK that we are going to order, (if I can convince the chap to let us go for the Khumo set)?

Any idea?

What are they going on? You can also get 215 and 235/75x15s.

Vitara and an SJ, in Bulgaria, so getting hold of the size you want can be a ballache. Found a non-advertised tyre place last week, and are heading there to see if they have MT's, and rims.
