This months Top Gear mag gives a brief overview of what we can expect in the new series starting this coming Sunday. One of the planned 'big events' is a drive through the Bolivian Jungle in cheap 4X4's. I don't know if anyone else has seen the mag but I was wondering what one of the 4x4's was? There is deffinatly a Rangie & a Jimny but the other care maybe a Wrangler??? I'm not sure, just wondered if anyone new any more about this challenge? Disappointed one of them didn't go for a Cherokee (maybe they were too cheap)!!!!

I've been in a Bolivian jungle, I'm sure they'll love it. Especially the mosquitos. And the internal flights. And the 'road of death'!

It was on again the other day & my GF recorded it for me, one of the best ones ever I'd say. I'd love to do that.

I just watched it on Youtube after reading this... really liked that episode.

This guy has the whole thing in 6 parts, and also the North Pole one.

I guess this was revived after a Dave repeat - I watched this one the other day too biggrin

I looked up that road after the episode and apparently the vast majority of deaths are head-on collisions, rather than people going over the edge. I mean, who drives fast enough along that sort of road to kill themselves in a head-on! eek

Did anyone else watch it thinking an old cherokee would have been good.
