Any one go green laneing around Essex/Herts (I'm near Bishop's Stortford) - I'm looking for someone to travel with and that knows some good routes.

looking at the OS maps - there are loads around the area (including Violets Lane at Furneux Pelham - definitely would not do this one alone!).

Shame i sold my Disco a couple of months back otherwise i would have come out to play.

Couple of easy lanes around Much Hadham and surrounding villages that i use to do on the way to Stortford, Harlow etc as well as a couple of good Ford's around Standon / Barwick

Best thing i can suggest other than your post on here is join one of the specific 4x4 club (either manufacture or general 4x4) to see what's happening around here.

Just to say thanks for an interesting introduction to green laning last night - won't be able to make next week (working late on Wednesday).

I was impressed on how a standard Grand Cherokee on normal road tyres coped - just need to get more off-road biased tyres.
