Just wondering if anyone has done the wayfarer in north wales and if so is it passable in a standard 300tdi Discovery with MT tyres?

I'd check with the relevant councils and their rights of way officer as to whether it is legaly passable first.I think some sections of this are subject to seasonal TROs.

Have done it a few years ago.
IIRC there are various TRO's inplace on it ... check with relevant authorities.
You should be ok with good tyres on most of it, but I wouldnt do it alone .. the Last time I did it was a few years back with agressive tyres and 3" opf extra suspension travel

The Wayfarer is currently closed for repairs. See here for more information.

When it's open, you should be fine. I've been along it in a standard TD5 Disco with A/Ts. Best to take another vehicle however, simply as it's very isolated and a small problem could become quite nasty if you haven't got anyone to fetch help.
