If anyone wants to get involved with some Cross Country Rallying then head to Bleddfa near Prestigne in Powys on the weekend of 31st July/ 1st August!
Some top flight vehicles and some great drivers - and me in my little ol' white standard Range Rover Classic. Hope to see some of you there!

Very much so, Cross Country Rallying is an exciting branch of motorsport. The more that come the merrier. There has only been one round that was closed to spectators but i was told by the land owners and the Championship organisers that the next time we go there it will be different.

BCCC Round 4, 31 July – 1 August 2010
Bleddfa / Radnor Forest, Mid Wales.
The fourth round of the BCCC will take us back to the forests of Mid Wales.
Radnor Forest has a long pedigree for cross country events and has played host to numerous Hill Rallies and more recently the BCCC.
This year as in previous years we will be using Nant-y-Corddi farm as our base and Rally HQ. The fields are an idea spot for camping and service with only a short jaunt across the field to the stage in Radnor Forest.
This venue, as many will testify can produce some exhilarating action from the blistering fast gravel roads to the tortuous, suspension bending cross country sections.
The last round in Scotland once again caused problems for our top runners with both mechanical and navigational problems which left Martin Gould and Steve Hiatt battling it out for the top slot. The final result showed Steve lying second by only 2 seconds from Martin.
The Location.
Rally headquarters will be arrowed from the A488 at (Map 148) SO 224 679 The nearest postcode for those using Satellite Navigation Systems is Nant-y-Corddi farm LD7 1NY .
The full Marches circus will be in attendance with all day food, a bar in the evening and toilets in the service area.
The course should be marked out by mid afternoon for those that wish to walk it.
Water is available on site and the venue will be open from Friday morning.
The Timetable.
The weekend will start as in previous years, with scruitineering which will take place prior to the first car at 10.30am on Saturday. We expect between 6 and 8 runs before the final run late Saturday afternoon.
The Sunday runs will start at 9.30am. We should see, possibly, 6 runs on Sunday before prizegiving at 3.00pm
