with paddle tyres the bug could be fun. turn the engine round and fit amidships, not like the back seats are needed is it?

the bus looks a good buy. even in that state it is cheap.

It states the car is in Mirdif and we know Richard doesn't live there and not sure Richard's has 3 wipers.

Are those pics recent. Does not look like they were taken in the UAE?

it's not richard's car, although his is out and about during the good weather and is most often seen driven spiritedly!

No wasn't me.

Ouch he wants a lot of money for it.
I paid just over half of that for mine and while she is not a trailer queen this one will not be either (the "full" restoration was in 2002).

Also being a nerd the grill isn't correct, the 1971 had a "fish-mouth" grill which is very very hard to get hold of if there are any problems so the normal solution is just to fit a normal grill. Okay, but at the price he wants needs to be perfect.

Was that the RS4 that was at Al Awir last year? That was US Spec and had been rebuilt after an accident.

Not saying it IS that one, just that a sliver/white leather one was for sale a year ago with dubious history.

Could just be the camera, but that RS4 has some serious colour match issues on its panels. Z3 looks good bar the wood.

No. Currently using an Avalanche in KSA and the Figo in DXB.

Maybe, just maybe a move to IAH in the not too distant so all kind of things going through my head...

Evora S, XKR-S, V8 Vantage, V8 Esprit, RS5... amongst others. Just dreaming for now, we'll see how the future pans out.

If I hadn't just bought the donkey both of those would be on my list to take a look at... the Cobra especially would be a fabulous tool, though the Merc would be more practical year-round.

Nice choices.

Good point. Bearing in mind my car buying history, (i.e twice bought an Alfa as a daily runner as I didn't quite trust the TVR), the Merc is far too sensible.. hehe

Houston, Texarse.

Wife wants 4 seats so I think the XKR-S in FRB is going to be the way forward.... I miss the power and noise of the XFR and need to have it back in my life. Is there anything else with 4 seats that does that?
