Looked at that a few years ago when it was for sale by the previous owner. PM me for details.

Those GT4's are so nice. Asked about one at the new showroom on SZ road. Didn't have any in and said it was a 1 year wait, if you could get your name on the list. Base price is 300k, which is a lot of money to me but a bargain for what it is, especially when compared to the price of a GT3. Mind you, there are some 991 GT3's on Dubizzle for less than 500k, which compared to the crazy UK prices seems cheap.

Speaking of cheap, why are Toyubaru 86/BRZ's so cheap out here? Seem to lose about half their value in 2 years. Don't think any other Toyota depreciates like that here. If in another 2 years they're 30k I'm in. Must be great fun on track.

they're not as highly priced to begin with. i was buying parts from the toyota showroom and the TRD edition in there was 120k if i remember rightly. jase told me the std models were up for 90k during ramadan sales last year which is £8-9k cheaper than the UK.

i agree, once these hit 30k [i've seen a US import for mid 40s so not too far away] i'm chucking a cage and supercharger in, stupidest drift bodykit i can find and going JDM Yo!

996 is tempting. Nearly bought one in the UK before I came to the sandpit.

Slk55 I'm not convinced I can get away with the hairdresser comments in the office, no matter how loud or fast. Twin turbo 350z would be fun if I could trust a mechanic here or had space to do work. More likely to end up a money pit methinks.

Gt86 is a contender, came from a 1.4 caterham in England so I wonder how this compares? Looked at e60 M5s and a couple of tasty S6s as well... Any thoughts?

That SLK55 looks amazing.

Let them make the hairdresser comments - then leave two long black lines as you are leaving.

I thought they had more power though. Am sure the power/weight ratio is good but the V8 in the the CL500's that I had put out 320hp or so and was a stock 5 litre and not AMG tuned.

Still, nimble and quick to dodge the sweet water trucks on the flyover onto Umm Suqquiem

the 350 looks to have a decent spec. and the lack of chav kit suggests a petrolhead owner. has to be comfortably 450-500bhp.

The issue with the rta is no engine mods so unless you have the right connections getting the 350 registered might be an issue

I think the arnie service was only for modified cars

The RHD cars i have seen are the RAK registered ones (a lot of JDM stuff)

rak or ajman i think. you can get rhd registered via sharjah classic car club without needing to be sharjah resident, bu there are firm rules and your tvr wouldn't get in due to age.

loving this as a crosstown sprinter:

They do take a hammering residually, probably a few factors involved.

Surprisingly handy around a track, ran rings round my 370z, or maybes it was the driver..................
