hummer due to the interior. i think you'd need to shout to chat to your passengers, and you gotta love the sheepskin rugs!

No. I think that it is a CS with a CSL boot and front carbon blades anyway.

I need to move house in the next week or so, will resume the search once that's out of the way. M6s have been catching my eye; I like the met red one for some reason. You'd need big balls to commit with no warranty though!

Now I'm a fan of the Z4MC - lovely looking, fairly spacious inside, super fast but a very very hard ride. The thing that kills them over here is that they're always more expensive than an equivilent Cayman S, and as two seater coupes go I know where I'd put my money.

Now in the UK the reverse appears to be true, mate of mine picked up an 07 Z4M convertible for frankly ridiculous money at the weekend. I wouldn't want to insure it or fuel it in Blighty though...

there was an avus blue 07 coupe for sale on dubizzle a month or so back. under 40k kms and up for aed80k.

all the reviews on here mention the hard ride but i've only seen one pothole here so far! on non runflats i think it'd make a cracking car. agree it'd be hard to look past the cayman though.

The main reason I got rid of the X5 (apart from that I needed the money!) was that the ride was too bloody hare. to get into my Villa it's about 15 mins quicker if I go accross a bit of sand and a temp road....I had to do 1mph the whole way and it was shaking and creeking.

Funny but the Civic hire car has no problem tackling the same route at 100.

Ws it an M though? Occasionally they pop up cheap - there was a lovely Sepang one on Dubizzle for about ten minutes for 87k once. Apart from that all the ones I've seen have been 120ish.

Re the ride - my mate had one and I swear that you can tell the thickness of road markings through the seat of your pants. Not bad 90% of the time, esp. if you're only doing short trips, but if your route involves speed bumps you'll find Land Cruisers trying to climb over you as you slow to 2mph to try to keep the fillings in your teeth!

it was indeed an M. M's on runflat tyres get panned, change to normal tyres and there's a world of difference according to the enlightened people of this forum.

less than 280k? i bid 120 smile

more seriously, i'm convinced by the cayman over the z4. asterix: would you mind disclosing the annual running costs and who you use for servicing etc?
