i was right behind you on umm suqeim as we both merged to turn left. you then shot off past a row of cars, cut the queue before going round the car in front, cutting across a police car and going through the lights as they turned red. hats off!

as punishment, you have to buy this and tell everyone it's your dream car.

I only spotted the copper as I rounded the lights - I think he felt sorry for me for driving a girl's car!

not usually a fan of the 996, but this looks a good buy. nice colour & interior looks great, manual and enthusiast owner.

its cars like these we should all gang together to waste the seller's time for a couple of weeks, then one of us goes to see it with 80% of the asking price in cash.

There are much better 996 TTs out there - Deals on Wheels have a stunning low miler for about the same money as that one and there is a Boys Bedroom Wall special in red, with red and silver inteior and manual for about 175k I think.

Alpina is lovely, but no kms mentioned means high to me.

Evora is lovely for that money. Wonder if it's a 2+2?

That Evora is lovely.. Seriously considered a Europa as a single car daily driver in the UK but what put me off was the basic interior - the Europa solves that problem nicely. Not sure I'd want one here though.

That Indy.. nuts

Anyway, solved my car dilema with a huge thumbup to Gaffer who spotted it on Dubizzle and sent me an email saying simply 'get it bought' - Chevrolet Lumina SS. Seem to have managed to buy a car that attracts the 'please try to race me' local crowd but other than that, very pleased with it so far. Not many places you can buy a 5.7L V8 and regard it as a sensible daily runner, but Dubai seems to be one of them.. biggrin

Also comes in clean rather than what I like to call dusty black..

Nice mate, I so very nearly ended up in one of these when I couldn't find a good Mustang, there is no replacement for displacement smile

So.... wanna race?

I would never have thought to look for one of those without a gentle nudge in its direction, but I've got to say I'm bloody impressed. Racing will be postponed a little until I'm used to an auto box in a LHD with a road full of people who seem intent on actually trying to kill me..

Should be very easy to unlock a few more horses once you are used to it as well.

Nice, even better if the proposed reduction in the price of fuel happens. Now get it to the autodrome and see what it does.
