Anyone working over there at the minute?

I've just applied for a job near the Pakistan border. The FCO site makes grim reading.

Anyone got any current experience of travelling to & around the country?

I believe that Iranians are reputed to be some of the most hospitable, friendliest people on earth.... not too sure about the area that you're going to though!
