From what I remember hearing about the last time something like this happened, there was a mass exodus from the country as everything that remained was shut. I quite like the idea of a week of peace and quiet here - I'm assuming that Spinneys and places like that will be open? My freezer isn't exactly stocked at the moment..

I don't get tomorrow I would of guessed a more holy day.

Also going on holiday for a week so that means I miss a free week of work, but they probably would make use take it as holiday anyway

i hear even the free zones shut but we'd likely only get 4days off. if that is while we are away i hope that can be recovered.

pretty harsh of us just be thinking of the impact on us, but then again if it has been going on as long as the rumours have been around then anyone close enough must be through with feeling glum about it by now. certainly the pr dept have known given the rising press profile of certain others.
