British TV in the UAE
Discussion
Not sure if it's of any interest to anyone but several colleagues and I are now running our boxes over wireless Internet.
It seems the boxes are rather fussy as to what type of wireless adaptor they use, the only one we found to work properly came from the UK
I am about to put another order in, if anyone wants one they work out to be 110aed each (only catch is you won't get it until I get back to Dubai at the end of September)

Didn't know you had one of the boxes Claire, when did you get yours?
I havent yet but will be soon when I move into my new place. But getting the order in now Let me know when you want a box and I'll give you my Man's details.
Seems expensive as you can get the same for 5 quid a month with a VPN account.
Also as these services are illegal they have a horrible tendency of being switched off without any notice. Remember DSTV?
Decent free sports channel...
