Just wondering if anyone else has invested in one of these media box type devices that give you full access to all UK TV channels and sky sports etc etc as well as lots of movies.

I've just had mine installed and it's simply sodding brilliant. Sky sports F1 included lol

Bloody awesome isn't it.... I'm currently watching the BTCC from Croft, first time I've seen a Touring car race in about 6 years.

This might just be the best thing I've bought!

I emailed them the other day. Very tempted but need more discovery channels. Oh, and BBC1 would need to be turned off...Eastenders you see...

Which one did you go for Del, a mate has been banging on about how good his is, heard bad reports about the Android one.

Also, what speed internet, we're on the normal 8mb I think.

You got a channel list to hand?

Cheers

Mine already has the discovery channels and tv/movies on demand.

The quality is constantly being worked on and the content too. Most is SD but some HD.. Pretty happy

How much and is there a monthly fee del?

Mine's not android I don't think... Will sort out a channel list but basically it's all the UK freeview channels plus sky sports plus catch up TV and 180 movies on demand.

Most of mine are SD as well but the quality is excellent. I have 8mb connection and it never stutters and the initial buffering is momentary.

I seldom rave about anything but this system is that good that I demonstrated it at work and another 6 guys subscribed there and then!

Yep, hardwire internet in and HDMI out.... That said though one of my colleagues has his running over wireless internet. I tried that tonight but it seems the box is picky about which wlan adaptors it recognises.

It is excellent and I love that the TV guide works reliably and there's no threat of Du adding extra charges to something just because it's popular.

Ian has already asked for a demo, so I'll put together something at my place for early next week for anyone who's interested... what's people's availability like in the afternoon, say 4pm?

Hiya mate, that would be excellent so please let me know when, and I'll be there...might have to drag the Mrs along if that's?

Hi chaps, do you mind me asking which box you are using and where you got it? I currently use a VPN fired over from my ipad to the Apple TV but it does get annoying and channel selection is limited.

Cheers
Rich

Works for me.... at 4.30 Sunday there's a show from Goodwood Festival of Speed, we could use that to demonstrate?
Alternatively the British GP is re-run at 4.15pm on Monday if that's a better option for people?
