I'll miss this, damn!

Maybe next time you're in town?

It would be great to give a cheer and have a group/team to support.

Best of luck for 2 weekend's time.

Not that I am aware of. There is a private trackday in a couple of weeks for Porsche and one just before the next race for Lexus, oh and a trackday, but thats more or less it. It gets really busy in Jan through to the end of the season then.

Mark did you speak to Hankook regarding the cold and hot tyre pressures?

Na, but I found some feedback from Toyo to another guy, to be honest my cars absolutely where I want it at the moment. The only thing I want to fix is the inside rear wheel hop.

Spent 7 years over there - from 2007 to June 2014. Try it, its not for everyone. Abu Dhabi would be a better posting.

Prefer to watch you not get a dq. hehe

Was it for that win in the YouTube clip you posted recently?

Didn't see anything dodgy, technicality?

They don't know how to use the data loggers we just started using, so they decided that I have between 190bhp and 240bhp at the wheels (the engine is stock and detuned and I have a dyno print out saying it makes 151bhp at the wheels)...admittedly on a different remap to the one I used, but the map I used was merely a slight bump in the power, designed to get me to about 160bhp at the wheels...(my limit is 177bhp max and 1100kg min)...it is still way below the stock tune in terms of fuelling and ignition timing.

They said the guy in the integra I battled had 290bhp at the wheels from a 2.0 honda Prelude engine..(admittedly its gotta be tuned to monster me like it was on the straights, but c'mon, 290!?!
...so they DQ's us both on technically breaking the power to weight ratio, incidentally 2 other cars also broke the same rule and one datalogger recorded no data atall and all 3 of those cars were not disqualified. rolleyes

...anyway I've protested to the Clerk of Course, I can't say any more because I'm sure the forums have eyes frown

Yes, understood bud, sympathies, that was a righteous and very well battled win and it sounds like you know it.

Seems like you're spot on with your first sentence, it's one thing to have the tech and it's another knowing how to use it.

I don't know much about data logging etc but I'd guess it's one of those things that comes with time and practice to be able to interpret correctly, excuse the puns! biggrin

I'm sure they'll get there, hopefully before it costs too many good finishes.
