fluorescent tubes

Today's random question. .. I'm trying to find some replacement tubes for the under cabinet lights in my kitchen. They are an odd size and I'm struggling to find them anywhere. Tried all the supermarkets + ace & dragonmart with no luck. Anyone know if there's a better place to look?

Not too much help I know, but when I was in the same situation a couple of years ago I ended up buying the tubes in the UK on a trip home and bringing them back in in my luggage.

What size tube are you looking for, I can ask our office facilities people, you might get lucky

If it's for the under the cabinets in Emaar properties, all the usual maintenance contractors have them.

Cheers Del, it's a T4 16w lamp 13mm x 460mm. I tried our FM provider, but their suppliers only deal in T8 and larger, these are pretty small and not really what you would find in an office.

That's good to know, I'm in an Emaar tower. I'll see if I can ponce some via the guy on the front desk.

Sorry to drag this up but I am guessing they are the same as in Arabian Ranches (also Emaar).

Does anyone know where I can get those (there are a few AR guys on here).

I've been after these for a while and hey presto there in the ranches geant tonight 125 dizzers each though! although they are led so 20 year lifespan! get down there mate!

Thanks and ouch! Not sure I want to spend the best part of 500AED on bulbs (we are renting).

Swapped a few of them around and good thing I did since it appears that the empty/non-functioning ones don't actually work so I suspect the holders are the issues for those.

Strip led from Dragon Mart perhaps (not!)
