......... actually live in Dubai?

Just wondering as I have been here over a month now, and not met one of you for a beer yet. Just wondering if you all really live in the UK, and get all of your information from "ex-pat womans forum" and just copy and paste over here.

This weekend is the pinnacle of the sporting year, and I will be found in a bar showing the Ryder cup somewhere in Dubai. So any chance I may see some of you somewhere for a beer this weekend?

Surprised I have not see you in there then!

Sure I heard of a place on radio this morning called Barristers that will be showing it indoors and outside - somewhere near JBR (which is close to me). Any ideas what bar that is?

Or else it would have been Nell Gwens which I keep finding myself drawn to, or McGettigans at JLT.

The Nell Gwynn? The last time i was in there with Jase it went badly wrong for the next morning- the just a couple rule went by the wayside early (sometime before the Yager started)

For the ryder cup...undecided, but not nells.

have probably seen you in there then, as I have been a fair few times myself in the past few weeks.

I have a date for Friday now wink - but open for offers the rest of the Ryder cup. Booked my calendar as out of office from 13:30 on Sunday as well.

golf is for wrong uns

i think the last really good night we met up was when we did the karting. mike got bashed by a local kid, oily's wife was brave enough to join us in the boozer and i left my house keys in john's car and ended up skipping work due to the 'good samaritan' who lent me a sofa plying me with drink and fags til 6am.

Nell's also my local as I live right behind. Can normally be found in there for GP or 'just the one after work...'

I've just looked back into the annals of time, that karting session was July 2011, where the fk has 3 years gone??

I've only been up once since then and that was 2 years ago so no idea on karts.

Based on last PH trip results, we should send the stragglers up to find out and they can practice!
