How do tickets work?

Missus wants to see Pharrell but has zero interest in F1, do they do gigs only tickets?
I will probably have a spare ticket for Pharrell as I haven't got a clue who that is and I'm not likely to invest the time in working it out now. Someone at work thought it was something to do with the Minions Banana song and frankly thats an ear worm I really don't want..

I'm not sure quite how it all works though as I've usually managed a slight alcoholic glaze over the F1. I think you have to get a wrist band from inside the circuit once you have gone in with the official ticket. If thats the case, I can't see a problem with leaving the circuit for the day and handing my ticket/lanyard over. Vague feeling that its all got to be sorted relatively early in the day though.

Right, for the lack of faith in something better, I'm nipping out for a quick one now.

I don't have any desire to see him either, but would rather him than the first 2 performing this year, The Who would top Nail just because I suppose saying you've seen The Who has some cachet but in truth I wouldn't go to any of them.
You'll miss out because they're fantastic live and I've often heard the Who sell out. Right I'm off for a quick one, who's next? drink

They seem to have done separate tickets for eve events not the wristband approach.

Plenty of decent hotels and restaurants around the fairmont - its well placed. Try eastern Mangroves, the rosewood and either hotel on Saadiyat for something different.

Alot of the teams stay on Saadiyat so good to go there. We bumped into Mark Webber with his mum and dad in the St. Regis on Saadiyat last year.

i thought you had to queue with your ticket/pass to get the gig ticket? then queue again for the alcohol wristband.

in which case mike you can have mine for pharrel. my pass will be photo ID but should be blaggable with me there.

pretty glad the first 2 nights aren't my cup of tea, i was falling asleep during practice/support races last year.

Cheers lads, I will pass that on but I have zero interest in going and I can't see her going on her own.

Phil - you did last year, but this year, they seem to have done separate tickets....no idea why.
