If it makes you feel better, I have been quoted 24,000AED to replace the suspension in my car. It apparently has magnetic ride control suspension.

Can anyone recommend any aftermarket Cadillac workshops here in the UAE?

Cheers

how long have you been driving it like this nick? pretty sure this has been going on aaaages!

anyway call heiki on 056 256 1321 and ask him to take a look. pretty much the only garage in dubai i trust.

main dealer garages here talk total bks. colleague was quoted 24k for a new aircon system. i told her to go to silber arrows and she ended up spending 5% of that amount and the a/c is blowing ice cold over a year later.

Pictures would help but that thread is spot on.

If your worried do what Phil suggested, get Heike to have a look and get the parts he recommends and let them fit them. (That's if you don't feel like doing it yourself.)

Nope, the SLS (pretty much the predecessor to the XTS though). I gave up trying to buy an XTS from them!

I think/hope that the suspension is the same used as in the US/EU STS's (the shortwheelbase version of mine).

My concern is since my car was only ever sold in ME and China, that there may be some specific parts that I cannot get from the USA.

I went to Saluki this morning, as I know where they are! Nothing more than need to replace the bushes, as he couldn't see anything wrong.
So, anyone have any ideas where I can get a full set for the front end and have them shipped here asap?

Cheers!

That's a ballache! Just on the off chance.....it's not a version of the GM Autoride is it? I had a Yukon in KSA which, prior to my ownership, had an overhaul of the system which cost in the region of SAR20k (not ideal for the previous owner). When looking to buy the car I did some research and you can replace Autoride with a passive system instead. Maybe worth looking in to?

Not sure to be honest but it looks as if it is shared with a range of domestic Cadillac models in the States and very expensive to replace there too.

It does seem that there are 'bolt in' replacements from the USA due to the aftermarket demand so will be looking into that.
