Winch - any ideas?

Hi gents - a mate in the office is looking for a winch for his G Wagen back home in Denmark. Any ideas where is best to look?

Not sure of the load but he mentioned 'pulling people out of ditches in the snow' was among the requirements so it'll need to be heavy duty and reliable.

warn, superwinch or mile marker. the latter are exclusive supplier the the US military, they're standard fit on army hummers.

he'll likely need a winch mount bumper to replace the OEM as there isn't room on the front of a g wagon to plonk one on top.

The Merc is a 1979 model so I've no idea if the bumper is more utilitarian than the modern ones but worth checking - cheers.

Apparently it can be cheaper buying outside of Denmark and taking it in than buying in country - they have pretty high taxes.
