Where I can hire a set of chains/sling that is capable of lifting or dragging a 2,000kg shipping container? I've got the plant but no chains!

It's not the slings that are concerning me....it's the 2-bob shackle things I'm connecting them with!

Na, piece of cake!

Just for you Phill, I did. I'll upload it soon, but for AED60 a corner....bargain, and no problems at all....the excavator struggled though.

not sure i want to see it tbh mate. just recovering from a nightmare with 2 132kV transformers sat on a river barge, a 200T crane at site and a 54 wheel low loader all sat idle for 4 days because the logistics co. didn't think to bring the fking slings to do the lift. $80k in charges and demurrage. arse.

Good god. My stress levels are off the chart when materials turn-up 24 hours late, and I'm paying 5,000 a day for the plant....sitting there doing nothing.

could have lifted sooner in theory but at $2m per transformer i didn't want to use what they did have with them.

so you lifted a container using dragon mart slings and an excavator? i do want to see this video after all!
