AED 1060 - 1 speeding fine, couple of parking and Salik fines.

Best ever year in the 11 I've been here - worst was around AED 20k!

That included a couple of 'large' amounts to pay off three Emirates to not impound my car - That's what happens when you do Festival City to RAK Ceramics in 24 minutes...

Somehow I never actually got points or a single ticket in the UK (worst I got was one of those illegally issued parking tickets at Mcdonalds which I refused to pay) helped knowing where the fixed cameras where but never got caught by a mobile one.

3 years, no speeding tickets and one parking ticket for the first two years. Nothing last year.

Nothing in the UK either.

7am on a Friday morning in about 2004. On a CBR600RR, head on cameras so didn't have to slow down, happy days!

Haha! The bike does make sense, be a serious effort in a car that kind of average speed.

Either that or a speeding fine way over the limit - I have experience of those...

Phil - did you get my email yesterday?
