Evening all, a fair while back I managed to drive my Jeep through a very deep puddle which resulted in water going into the engine. As there was no crash and the car just conked out, I got it recovered back to my place by the insurance company.

We then had a long dialogue as to whether I was covered or not. After about three weeks of back and forth, they agreed I was covered, but need to produce an accident report. Long story short, cannot get one as did not report at the time of the accident.

So looks like I need to get sorted myself. I'm out the country and will be for the next 8 weeks, any ideas on a good trustworthy garage that could help?

The Jeep is an 09 4.7, so only worth 60k when fully repaired.

Cheers

Edited to add it runs but the engine sounds horrendous, so it's toast.

Which Robbie? Lots of them in dubai.

My first stop would be Robbies Motorsport. Turn right after gargash merc and look out for a row of hummers/jeeps. Very easy guy to deal with. Also there are two jeep breakers in um ramool. Khoory garage and another whose name escapes me. PM me tomrrow i'll dig up old emails.

Robbie Clarkson used to work for Saluki in the service shop and now works for MBM servicing jetskis and stuff.

Robbie Haines run the Saluki Engineering / fab shop.

Robbies Motorsports is not related to any of the new, old or future Robbies from Saluki!
