Does anyone know somewhere or someone who does it, well, who they trust?

Please let me know, got my new motor and would like to get it done properly so it lasts a while...

If you had somewhere to do the work with AC, i.e a garage in a villa that can allow AC in from the house then I could potentially help out. Its impossible to work outside in this heat during summer, have no idea how so many people manage it.

Alternatively if somehow the car could be in Dubai I can help.

Personally I do this as a bit of a side hobby so unfortunately don't have dedicated premises etc to work in.

Some examples of cars ive done:

If I cant help, let me know your requirements and I will see if can ask around for a suggested place in AD that can help you out.

Executive Car Care in Mussafah are the best in Abu Dhabi and very reasonable too (approx 700aed for proper detail incl machine polish and carpet shampoo). They use Meguires products. Only negative is the shampoo they use leaves a pefumed smell for about a week (I cannot stand it but it goes away) 02 555 0008

Keep an eye on Cobone/Groupon as Executive Car Care are regularly in it so can get the same package done for a lot less which is good value for a basic machine polish. Pretty much everywhere uses Meguiars out here!

Thanks for the advice guys. I will keep an eye out on group on.

I don't currently have access to a air conditioned garage, but let me look into that aftershock. Thanks for the offer, I may well get back to you.

Very nice, rare sight out here.

Is it manual by any chance? Had a customer at work with one in that exact colour, cant be many in the UAE.

That is lovely. I'm considering going for something very similar in the next 6 months. Would be interested to hear any advice to be aware of or horror stories on running one of those in AD?

Yes it's manual.. The flappy paddle in this era was not great, but to be honest the manual is what I was after anyway. Love this colour, it's the only one I have seen here, I think with a good Polish its will look the absolute nuts.

With regards to nightmares, part from the transfer day I have had no nightmares this far, just compliments really! I love the sound, I think it's pretty much the prettiest car of our generation..and room to play with the engine a bit.. I will get round to it, but only had the car for a month, and 2 of those weeks were spent back home in the UK ( I literally finished registration AT&T 11:25 at night so only drove it home as I had an early flight the next day.) frustrating!! Can't wait to take her up to ras Al Kamah and get up the mountain roads!!!

It must be the car my customer used to have, cant imagine two manual cars in that exact colour combo existing out here. Was owned by an English guy (assuming it is the car) but hes no longer here so not sure who you might have got it from as I know his wife was looking after the sale last time I spoke to her but that must be 3-6 months back now.

Providing it is the car I know then I have seen it 4 times, going from the last time unless its received some correction work the paint really needs at least a 2 stage correction doing, ideally a 3 but this is very time consuming. Ive recently received some new compounds direct from Germany which will do a 3 stage in 2 stages so a bit more time friendly. After compounding the shine needs to be built back in so a Glaze with a Sealant on top to keep the finish would be the minimum id suggest (many more stages can be built in however). The car would be back to as near to when it left the factory.

The cobone/groupon offers will polish the car and add a decent shine to it, however the paint if your lucky will get around 10% correction just by chance of the polish they use and who does it but it could well be a lot less, plus after its been washed 5-15 times (depending on the protection they put on and how you wash it) the car will be back to how it is now.
