We had one that started out great but over time, kept coming later and later (watering garden at noon for an hour!) and less and less was done.

They sent a new guy who does absolutely nothing - came back from holidays to find all the plants dead, half the grass dead, the hose just draining onto the grass in one corner, the place generally looking like a tip and him asleep on the garden furniture.

Quite clear what he spent the time doing when he figured out we were on holidays. Cannot wait for the DEWA bill :-(

I do quite a lot myself so it is not a case of "you, peasant, work harder" while I sip a cool drink in the shade but rather don't like the mickey been taken.

So, if anyone is using someone that they are happy with and they are looking for some more work, do let me know.

Cheers

Hi, did you get this sorted in the end? The company we use moved the good guy we had and replaced him with a succession of 'gardeners' who have no idea what they are doing. We had a great lawn all through the summer, but now it looks like the surface of Mars. Their suggestion to fix this was to start mowing the grass from the bottom up instead of the top down smile

Did you find a good gardener you could recommend, we're in Palmera.

Cheers

Ended up just using people on an ad hoc basis when needed (tree trimming, grass cutting). I may well change my mind when it tops 40 degrees!
