If this bike is really as advertised - is a bit of a bargain.

Another month or two until back in the dunes - so now is the time to buy if you want one!

Now then...
Dune bashing season will be upon us soon. Notwithstanding you wonderful people of this here thread, can anyone point me in the direction of a specific club for this particular two-wheeled activity?
Currently thinking of picking up a 450 KTM or Yamaha (other options considered though) . Any thoughts on which bike is best suited to the sand pit. It helps that I have a Yamaha dealer next door to my office.

KTM are big out here. There is lots of choice and they will always re-sell without issue. When riding out on a weekend, you'll mostly see a sea of orange. But also consider Husqvarna, essentially a KTM with development parts. Great looking bike in my opinion and good value to be had, I'll be considering the move from KTM to Husqvarna next year. SRG are the dealer. But KTM UAE are ok to deal with as well.Dune bashing season will be upon us soon. But 450 all the way.

Are there any specific forums where you guys arrange to head off to the dunes?
This one !Rich and stuck mojo are away at the moment. End of September we will be out most Friday mornings. I think you are in AD if I remember correctly ?
There are a few guys come up to Dubai to ride from AD, and we will be heading up there too (I've not been yet), but once you get to meet everyone - you will get a ride a week if you want it ? I suggest if you are interested to look at bikes now and also at gear.
The UAE is limited for gear - so we mostly ship it in from UK/USA - and it can take a few weeks.
Drop me a PM if you want more details ?
