Landrover parts?

I have the dubious honour of running a Discovery D1 with around 250,000kms. Not a problem - it's a good one, only stranded me three times in six months!

Now it needs an alternator, water pump, possibly belt tensioner and definitely new fan belt. Where from? I have been happy in the past with a alternator refurb by Lucas on Shk Zayed Road, but don't even know if D1s use Lucas components. The rest - clean, cheap and preferably second hand, apart from a new OEM belt. Where's the best place to go and look?

Used not sure, unless you can source and ship from the uk. For new LR parts I use gulf star trading sharjah and some times Al tayer. I also assume you are doing the work yourself.

if you are still looking i am in the uk until 1st july and doesnt look like i'll be bringing any parts of my own back this trip. i have 12kg spare baggage allowance.
