Afternoon all,
I still haven't got my passport/visa back from the bank, but when I do I'll have to sort the wife's out. Can anyone shed some light as to what the process involves. I was hoping it would be queueing up at a counter, paying a few quid, and that would be that....but I'm guessing it's not that simple.
We only got the usual 30 days stamped when we flew in, so now only have 2 weeks of that left....I'm hoping this is enough time?!

Many thanks.

First things first - it's pretty easy (and pretty standard) to have to do a visa run where you drive to Oman or fly out for the weekend and get a new stamp on the way back in.

With regards to the Visa process I can't help, the wife got her own job sorted before she came so has her own. I know that if she'd have needed one the Company would have sorted it for us so might be worth asking, or if they're completely crap find someone in the office who's just been through it and get them to talk you through step by step.

Cheers. I'll speak to another "foreigner" in the office to see how they made it!
