I agree, unfortunately wtdoom seems to enjoy this kind of thing, and does it everywhere he goes. I think if he's ignored for long enough, he'll find somewhere else to play.

The thing is, it's all frustrating at home, as I've paid a shed load of money for these services.
Claire, you mentioned swapping places. Wouldn't you have the 'ump if you'd paid 1000 quid for 1700 TV channels, and then half of them worked one minute, not the next, then not at all...etc, etc. We paid a huge premium on the Villa to have a pool, and it's been built by idiots.
The list goes on. To say "Ohhhh, but you've got this and you've got that" is not the point. I paid a fecking fortune to have that and expect not to be fobbed off with bullst!

Still, I slept well last night, and don't have a hangover.

Its not just Dubai mate, Bahrains the same and the reason i was still setting up at the boat show here the other night at 3.30am...
Nothing will change mate, dont stress over it or do yourself in! Ive even managed to pack up the smokes since ive been here and still put up with all the B/S!
My dad worked for a boatbuilder in Q8 in the 70's, when my parents came over last month i took my dad into work and showed him round our factory, the first thing he said was "nothings changed!"
Having to deal with all the jinglys is a pain in the arse but speak slow and loud and direct and something along the lines of what you want might happen.

Yeah, I know mate! My wife is fine, she just goes with it. I seem to have less patience, and want things resolved immediately.

Beers you say? Might be an idea, as I have a stranded sister (and her other half before anyone starts!) to entertain and am running out of ideas.

Floating brothel.... isnt that what most of the boats in DI..... I'll stop there..!

I only say Barasti as im working right next door so im being lazy, i wont be finished till 5 each night, 6 & 7th being the only nights im free, im staying in internet city again at the holiday express so will leave open to suggestions if anyone has any other ideas that are better and that the splendid dubai taxi service will be able to find!!

Did you know, the UAE and Moscow are in the same time zone (in summer)? That means no jet lag!

I hate to bang on about this, so last post....but it was there again tonight, parked sideways accross my 2 spaces! I left a small note....ok, an A3 bit of paper on the windshied. i wouldn't mind, but there are dozens of spaces free around here, you know the lanes with dotted lines specifically for parking.

Oh, and pool man? legal proceedings start tomorrow if I don't get things resolved!

Anyways, enough moaning....give myself a hearty.

Caracal gun range is a must do. 9mm hand guns and you'll be firing away in less than 2 mins. There is, however, no bar next door (well not that I found anyway). But the Shangri-la and souq are only a short taxi ride away.
