the design is understated and imo japanese looking. i like the front, hate the back. the gt3 racers look miles better with the aero treated front.

interior is lovely though, the engine is a masterpiece [have toured ricardo's engine plant with some of the engineers involved] and by all accounts it is a very precise, nimble road weapon. i just wish it looked a bit more cohesive and daring, like the old esprit concept

I love them, they seem to be a grower unlike the 458 which looks awesome at first bet less so with time. The killer on the donkey is the triple exhaust.

the 458 is a great looking car, particularly in tdf blue. i just think ferrari interiors are too toylike. same with lambs, they just look OTT. mclaren seems to bring a degree of understatement and design to the party, not that i can afford any of them!

spotted a maroon 2cv on al khail earlier - most amusing. also a lamb0 670sv outside my building and a very cool land rover defender double cab pickup in the ranches, had team saluki stickers on it but they ignored my wave frown

ps - anyone know why there's an eppco aviation outlet behind the ranches? is there an airstrip up there?

Am I the only one who is completely underwhelmed by the Mclaren..?

Just doesn't seem to have the "wow" factor of the F1 IMO.

Particularly the electric one we saw at the autodrome.. hehe

If I had the sort of money needed for one of these for very capable but at the same time fairly anonymous daily hack I reckon its not bad.

The number of people at the last Sunday Service I went to who looked at one in white and then wondered what 'the funny badge on the Evora was' was frankly staggering..

That is 'Made in China' scale. Had a 1.2 cu.in. 4 stroke motor (23cc).

Dragonmart is your one-stop-shop for cheap, crashable, aircraft. I have now gone electric; for 600 chips you can get a 70mph electric jet with everything required to crash it into your parked car....

Where does one fly such things?
Its high time i bought something else that will be used use and then thrown in a cupboard!
(or smashed into the ground, and then the talcum powder sized bits slung in the bin)

This thing was parked in the Greens last week.

Saw it first at night and assumed it was Hummer H1.

If the stickers are to be believed it is a Renault, concept.

Had air brakes, bloody big thing!

Not sure if it the same one, but.....................

Im sure that there was a 'recreation' for sale on Crank& piston a while ago?

If it is the same car, i have seen it around Motor City a few times, and it is bloody lovely, and having seen it passing a few times on emiratas road, will confirm that the driver uses it as was intended!!

From memory it is an old shell, 3.2 engine and g50 gearbox, running with modern air con.

Lovely.
