It looked bloody wide. The guy was straddling two lanes on the bit where they're building the tram line down Sufouh Rd, I think because he was scared of swiping an interlock barrier.

It probably didn't help that idiots like me were diving for their camera phones.

Didn't get to hear it unfortunately - turned off before I had a chance to hear it.

Always shocked by how big some of these cars are.

I remember pulling up next to a Merc SLS for the first time - the Cayman looked tiny compared.

There's a good comparison of relative sizes on the NSX thread in General Gassing. I used to think of the NSX as massively long and wide, but actually it's quite delicate compared to modern cars, even ordinary family hatchbacks.

One reason why I'm not such a big fan of modern stuff.

Wow that One-77 is nice! Some of my friends have seen it in Sufouh Road/Knowledge Village area as well!

Anyways, got a chance to take a shot of an 8C Spider plus a concept car (Bertone Mantide). There was another concept car as well but my picture didn't turn out too well.

Vector W8 on SZ road
Has anyone seen the VECTOR W8, chassis 007 in Dubai again?
The car had been auctioned in October 2010 by RM auctions in London, Battersea Park for 283.000$.

Last night at the Autodrome. 1970 246GT. Truly wonderful car in the flesh. Sorry I only took the front quarter - it was for one of those guess the car games on my BBM list:

I love it, but I'm not entirely sure the word 'nice' fits that.

'Aggressive', yes.

'Rapiest', probably!

Fair point!

The RR behind looked tiny by comparison.

Am I the only one who is completely underwhelmed by the Mclaren..?

Just doesn't seem to have the "wow" factor of the F1 IMO.
