It's not that hidden really - mahoosive DAIMLER sign on top of the building at the SZR-side of Jebel Ali kind gives it away. Yes, that's the corporate HQ but also houses the test facility.

JLR has a test facility here too, but I'm not allowed to say where

It appears to be on German plates so that may well be a good call.

Googled the i3, seems the rear lights/hatch are different. Camo is the same though??

It looks like those rear lights are temporary - people in Paris would go through a few sets per year if they were in effect the bumper!
