Spotted a lovely bond spec db-s in the marina around 6pm, only mentioning it as I thought someone on here bought one?
Also a 7series bmw reversing between junctions on SZR near ibn battuta around 10pm. This one gets a mention for him doing so in the second lane of the bloody motorway!

Hi folks, long term lurker and resident of Dubai here. Finally decided to sign up and my first post will be here. Shelby Cobra Coupe (or more likely one of the replicas?) on Shk Z earlier today. A cage in the back, 5.7 badging on the front wings and a truly ridiculous full size number plate stuck on the inside of the windscreen right in the centre. Apologies for the not so great pic, I promise to improve going forward.

Would bet the 356 was Phil McGovern - uses it as his daily!
Well done that man!if it is then i need to speak to him.
if it isn't, its a genuine 1600 super.

there's several companies who do
this looks familiar:

whilst i weep for the fact you could buy a genuine one for the same money not all that long ago, a bent window outlaw with a subaru boxer engine is a tempting prospect.

There was a gold/metallic beige Cadillac XLR (the hard top convertible) parked where the catering staff had their cars but the security guard would not let me in to take a photo.
Long short but do any of the racers on here happen to know who owns it? I have been looking for a decent one.

I think someone in Leyan community must be importing cars.
This morning outside of of the blocks were the following Japanese imports which looked to be in amazing condition:
F355 coupe
F355 targa
F360 challenge straddle
911 GT3RS (with rollcage)
964 shape 911 with what looked like bolted on wheel arches (not sure of the model)
All next to the Viper that lives there

Someone in my building has exceptionally good taste.
Jaguar Project 7 has just appeared, tucked away under a cover in the corner.
From the very little of it I can see under the cover it looks incredible.
I believe only 2 in the UAE.
Need to find out who's it is and try and blag a ride. Pretty much my favourite modern day car.
