Hi all,
Anyone got any ideas for things to do here in Dubai in or the near area this weekend ??

Wife is 7 months pregnant which is great, but we are getting cabin fever. Too hot for us to be "exposed" for long, and Ramadan limitations.

We are based in Duabi and did think about the Rainbow Sheikh collection (not sure wife wife would love it but its out of the sun and generally she is into these things). We have been in Dubai for about 4 months so still relative newbies.

Any ideas ?
Cheers

We have a guest ATM and are debating the same. Thinking of a Dhow cruise around the marina ( alot cooler at sea!), then a trip to Madinat. Not sure but some places are open as normal.

Ahh well think we settled on chilling and watching some tv in the end, might go to dubai museum tomorrow though, thanks for the suggestion. Went for a run as well about 7pm but still came back totally drenched, was good to avoid the gym for a change though !!!

We're off to the Atlantis waterpark today...in 42 degrees, during Ramadan. Not the best idea I know, but you try telling the Mrs.

Have you taken a drive out to Fujairah? Nice change of scenery and the little Hilton is nice for a bite to eat if you can sit inside?

My only visit to the Atlantis waterpark was around this time of year and it was awesome! You barely have to get out of the water the whole time so it's not too hot, and we pretty much had the park to ourselves.
