Hi,
I am looking to start racing next year. I came across the Ginetta Club Series which seemed to be suited to a novice such as myself. However I all mention dates back to 2008/2009. Anyone know if it is still going?

Hello there, if you mean the Ginetta Challange which race G20's and G40s then yes the series is still running. Also if you would like race mechanic help at the track i have 3 years racing experience with different race car, if you messaged me your email i could send you my CV.

Hi Rob, no this is different. In the meantime I found http://www.ginetta.com/news_article?id=48 which says that the series has joined up with Ginetta Heritage but that series also now seems defunkt. Best rgds, Paul.

Interesting. The Ginetta website only states 3 championships: the 2 BTCC surport races and the Challange. It may be worth looking into the SEMCEC Championship, we entered it in the 2010 season as a learning year or you could try the MSVR Website to see if your car can enter?

If you have a G40 or a current G20 you can race in the Ginetta Challenge, whilst it is on the SRO British GT package it is a great place to start..... It's good value and you can either run with a team or mechanic yourself as many do.
